Warning: Potential spoiler for Dune: Part 2 below.
Dune: Part 2's already stacked cast has added one more major addition ahead of its theatrical premiere next month: Anya Taylor-Joy.
The star showed up to the film’s London premiere event after rumors of her involvement surfaced in the days before. X/Twitter user @anyafolders captured and shared a Warner Bros. UK stream that shows Taylor-Joy talking about the film.

“Having seen it, this is probably one of the best films I have seen in my entire life,” she said. “Genuinely, [director] Denis [Villeneuve] has…killed it. It’s incredible.”
IGN can also confirm that Taylor-Joy appears in the sci-fi sequel, but we won’t spoil who she is playing.
Taylor-Joy joins a lineup that includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Austin Butler, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Rebecca Ferguson, and more. Regarding her opportunity to join the Dune universe, Taylor-Joy added, “This is a dream come true. You know, the books are incredible, but with this cast and with Denis, it doesn’t get any better than that.”
Dune 2 comes to theaters on March 1, 2024. In our 7/10 review of the 2021 original movie, we said, “Dune is a gorgeous but imperfect epic, a technical wonder that spends too much time setting up a third act that never comes.”
