In Catwoman #58 (by Tini Howard, Nico Leon, Veronica Gandini, and Lucas Gattoni), Selina Kyle finds Batman in rare form -- unmasked and emotionally vulnerable. During a fleeting embrace between the two former lovers, Catwoman's inner monologue describes Batman as a building on the verge of collapsing. While this is true of Batman's body, it is equally true of his mind. After recently dealing with threats like Failsafe, Red Mask and Insomnia, the Dark Knight exists in a fragile emotional state which has placed him at odds with even his most trusted companions. However, Batman's struggle against his usual allies isn't the only thing causing him distress in Gotham War.
