For more than sixty years, Peter Parker has captivated fans as the Amazing Spider-Man. In that time, audiences have also gotten to know countless alternate versions of their favorite Wall-Crawler, each of whom has had something unique to offer the character. That being said, there has yet to be a mainstream version of the character who has escaped the worst trappings of the archetype that have long been established.
