Now that Spider-Man's most recent sidekick Spider-Boy has established himself through Dan Slott's 2023 Amazing Spider-Man run as the Web-Head's long-lost ally turned partner, it's worth digging into the history of another character who almost earned the moniker of 'Spider-Man's Sidekick.' This aforementioned sidekick was Ollie Osnick, an incredibly intelligent high schooler who built his own robotic spider arms and tried to emulate his idol as 'Spider-Kid'.
