Secret Invasion has officially come to an end, marking the first Disney+ series in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the series, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) is forced to go toe-to-toe with the villainous Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir) and his legion of shapeshifting Skrulls. However, like many of the other Earth-ending events to occur in the MCU over the last several years, the Skrull invasion is handled by only a handful of heroes, leaving the Avengers completely out of the fight.
