Since the Gem of Cyttorak gave Juggernaut his abilities, he has become one of the most powerful X-Men foes. However, there have been a few times when his incredible power has been amplified even more than usual. A great example of this can be found in X-Men #88 (by Alan Davis and Joe Casey), in which Cain Marko became the cosmic powerhouse known as the Trion Juggernaut, and it wasn't until Uncanny X-Men #369 (by Alan Davis, Terry Kavanagh and Joe Kubert) that Marko was finally able to break free of Trion's hold.
