Though DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran have yet to kickstart their DC Universe, this canon's Batman is already set for a debut in The Brave and the Bold, and writer Grant Morrison's 7-year-long Dark Knight epic is the perfect long-term roadmap. The legendary DC and Marvel Comics writer looks to be the inspiration behind other important and forthcoming DC features — like Superman: Legacy — and their other Batman works could create a distinctive take on the hero beyond his debut movie.
