The penultimate episode of Ahsoka proved emotional for Star Wars fans who have been waiting all season to see Rosario Dawson's titular hero reunite with her friends.
Episode 7 of Ahsoka, "Dreams and Madness," was a dream come true for Star Wars fans, as Ahsoka finally met up with Ezra Bridger and, of course, Sabine Wren (again) after a long space whale ride to planet Peridea. She arrives just in time to rescue her pals from a final attack by Shin Hati and a faction of Thrawn's troopers.
The eagerly anticipated moment elicited an emotional response from fans as they took to social media to celebrate the joyful and touching reunion, particularly Ahsoka and Ezra's heartwarming exchange because it meant that Ahsoka had finally made good on the promise she made to Ezra in Season 4 of Star Wars Rebels.

This is the first time people have seen Ahsoka and Ezra together since Rebels, where Ezra witnessed Ahsoka's fateful duel with Darth Vader and pulled her to safety in the World Between Worlds. The two eventually departed the otherwordly realm through separate portals, with Ahsoka promising to find Ezra again.
The seventh episode of Ahsoka was brimming with fan service and signficant moments, including a surprise cameo from a fan-favourite Star Wars character, an exciting name-drop of a Clone Wars antagonist, and another interesting development in the Baylan Skoll plot, prompting speculation about his master plan.
The season finale of Ahsoka will arrive on Disney+ on October 3, while Episodes 1-7 are available now. IGN's review of Ahsoka Episode 7 called it a "largely a piece-moving affair" that puts the show's three lead characters "back in action for a fast-paced adventure" and "a necessary bit of fun" before the series ends.
