Horimiya is one of the best modern high school rom-coms in recent times. It changed the way high school romance was perceived and completely trampled the outdated damsel in distress trope. Horimiya paved the way for low-maintenance teenage relationships and gave viewers something meaningful that was free of the usual drama. Hori and Miyamura's story is full of depth, friendship, and the true meaning of loving someone for who they are. The original series premiered back in 2021, and now a sequel is continuing the story.
