Doctor Who's 60th anniversary sees the return of UNIT and Kate Stewart. The international military organization has been helping the Doctor combat alien threats to planet Earth since 1968's "The Invasion" and last appeared as recently as 2022's "The Power of the Doctor." UNIT is currently under the command of Kate Stewart, the daughter of the former UNIT leader and friend of the Doctor, Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart. Under her command, the organization has undergone some major changes to bring it into the 21st century, but now UNIT could be getting its most radical update yet.
