IGN can exclusively reveal the first trailer for Spotify's The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark, a new audio series that stars Euphoria and Fear the Walking Dead's Colman Domingo as Batman and will see the return of Hasan Minhaj as The Riddler/Edward Nygma and Gina Rodriguez as Barbara Gordon.
The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark and all eight of its episodes will be released exclusively on Spotify on October 10, 2023. The brand-new story will be told from the perspective of Minhaj's The Riddler, who first appeared as the iconic DC villain in 2022's Batman Unburied.
You can listen to the first audio trailer for The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark by clicking here and then you can hear a special message by Minhaj himself announcing the series. As for what the series is about, you can check out the official description and its key art below;
"A masked vigilante is on the loose, murdering notorious super-villains all over Gotham City… and all clues point to the suspect being the Caped Crusader himself, Batman," the official description reads. "Now, with a target on his head, the charming yet deadly Edward Nygma, better known as The Riddler, is forced to break out of Arkham Asylum and team up with the Caped Crusader. The unlikely duo must solve the mystery before they too, become victims."
The previously announced voice cast will be joined by New Girl's Hannah Simone as Nadira Newmar and Reboot's Calum Worthy as The Messenger. Returning characters include Harry Potter's Jason Isaacs as Alfred, Mythic Quest's Ashly Burch as Vicki Vale, and Penguins of Madagascar's Jim Pirri as Arnold Flass.
Fans can also expect to hear Peyton Crim as Killer Croc, Hugh Scott as Calendar Man, Bri Gigier as Summer Gleeson, Aflamu Johnson as King Tut, and Amy Argyle as Bat-Tech.
