Telltale Games has been around in some capacity since 2005, but they really started to pick up traction and a reputation for intense storytelling games with The Walking Dead in 2012. Everybody already knew about The Walking Dead from the hit television show that started in 2010, or from Robert Kirkman's comics that came before, which started in 2003. However, players still talk about Telltale Games' The Walking Dead as one of the best video games of all time.
