So falls the House of X. Teased out and set up in the final months of 2023, the end of the Krakoan Era begins in earnest with the release of Marvel's Fall of the House of X #1. Fall of the House of X is one of two interconnected series -- the other being Rise of the Powers of X -- that will mark the end of the Krakoan Age. Though there will be other miniseries, such as Dead X-Men, Resurrection of Magneto, and the one-shot X-Men: Forever, that tie into the end of this era, Fall and Rise are meant to mirror the two interconnected series that kicked off the Krakoan Era back in 2019 -- House of X and Powers of X. The rest of the X-Men line has been put on hold while these titles are released, similar to the full stop and relaunch brought on by House and Powers years ago. Fall of the House of X #1, written by Gerry Duggan with art by Lucas Werneck, colors by Bryan Valenza, letters by VC's Travis Lanham, and design by Tom Muller and Jay Bowen, is a strong stage-setter for the war for mutantkind.
