10 Prime Day Deals I'm Obsessed With Today in the UK

Published:Wed, 17 Jul 2024 / Source:https://www.ign.com/articles/10-top-deals-revealed-prime-day-2024-uk

This year’s Prime Day sale has been an absolute bonanza. We’ve had great gaming deals, free Audible subscriptions, and even slashed prices on some usually quite pricey booze.

The sale is still alive and thriving but not for much longer. Today is the last day that you can get your hands on the ludicrous savings on offer. So, in the interest of being helpful, here are some of our favourite deals that you can still nab before the curtain closes on this year’s Prime Day.

1. Ninja Foodi Max Air Fryer

If you’ve been following our article or our Twitter account for any amount of time, you’ll know that we’re fairly obsessed with this thing. As far as Air Fryers are reasonable price points go, this one is the king. You can grab it for just £159.99 at the moment.

It has two drawers with ample space in them, so if you’re in a rush you can just bung your entire dinner in the drawers and you’re away. The most nifty feature it has is the sync button, meaning you don’t have to do any work figuring out the timings. Just stick everything in the air fryer at once, and it’ll make sure it all finishes cooking at the same time.

2. LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 Model Set

Wouldn’t be a proper sales event without slamming LEGO deals, would it? You can pick up an R2-D2 Model Set for just £68 at the moment, down from the RRP of £89.99.

You can rotate the head on this one 360 degrees for a nice touch of realism. LEGO also know that you want to show off your handiwork, which is why the set comes with a little information plaque to put on the shelf with the model when you’re done building it.

3-Month’s Free Audible Subscription

I work in the Audiobook production industry as my day job, so I’m never gonna omit a slapping Audible deal from my list of favourites. Three months of an Audible subscription will give you three free books–one a month–of any length. If you played it tactically, you could bag yourself hundreds of hours of audio content for free.

Once the three-month trial period ends, the subscription will cost £7.99 a month, which is still a decent bargain compared to buying the books outright.

4. 24 Cans of Coke (330ml) for £7.99 for Prime Day

This deal is so good that it’s borderline silly. Follow the link and pop three multipacks of 8 cans in your basket. When you go to checkout, the discount will be automatically applied, and you’ll only have to spend £8 on the entire job lot of 24 cans. Absolutely ridiculous.

These have been flying off the virtual shelf though, so your options are not a little bit limited in terms of varieties and flavours. Caffeine Free and Lemon flavours are still available at the moment though!

5. Shark Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

Shark are one of our favourite brands for home appliances. Their cleaning tech is always great and they’re a solid option for people that want the convenience of a Dyson without having to splash out on the higher price point. This handheld vac is going for just £47.50 at the moment, down from £79.99. Hard to beat that really.

6. Sony WH-1000XM4 Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones

I’ve written about these headphones a lot, and I’m always full of praise for them. They’re comfortable, sound great at their price point, and the adaptive noise cancellation works a treat when out and about. All round, they’re just a solid pair of headphones.

Luckily for you, they’re also included in the Prime Day savings this year. You can pick up a pair for £179.99 as long as you get moving on it today. If you wanna get your hands on a pair outside of the Prime Day window then you’re going to need to hand over £350.

7. Apple AirPods (3rd gen) with Lightning Charging Case

Sticking with headphones for a minute, it’s hard to go wrong with a good pair of AirPods. For in-ear, everyday-use type headphones, I think they’re a great pick. Some people like to baulk at Apple Headphones, but I’ve always found them more than up to the job.

Grabbing them for just £129.99 would most certainly be a bargain. If you’re on the hunt for new headphones, Prime Day is most certainly not letting you down.

8. Ring Devices

Take your pick when it comes to Ring deals this Prime Day. The classic ring product is the video doorbell, which has come down to just £49.99, which is a saving of over £90. You can also bundle the doorbell with an Echo Pop for the same price, so essential: a free Echo Pop.

The Ring outdoor security camera is also at the same price, down from £89.99. And, to round off the trifecta of Ring deals, their outdoor floodlight has had £70 knocked off the price and is available for just £109.99 at the moment. Cushty.

9. Apple Air Tag Multipack

I don’t know about you, but I am constantly losing everything. Hell, only two days ago I was scrambling around in the road looking for my phone when a kindly Kebab shop bossman came running over to tell me he had my precious mobile. I lost my keys the next day while in the middle of moving house.

Long story short, I could do with putting some trackers on my stuff, because my stuff has a habit of growing legs. Don’t be like me, take advantage of Prime Day to get some Air Tags for your stuff, especially when it’s only £84 for a pack of 4.

10. Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max

Can’t have an Amazon sales event without some Amazon deals. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is down to its lowest-ever price of just £39.99 during Prime Day. The 4K Max stick is Amazon’s newest and most powerful streaming stick yet.

It’s got WiFi 6E capabilities and, as I’m sure you guessed from the name, it can stream in 4K. The other really cool feature it has is the Fire TV Ambient experience that lets you turn your TV into a giant display of art and photography.
