The X-Men's Krakoa Era has seemed to reach its terminus. Fall Of X has already destroyed the mutant nation, scattering its inhabitants to the winds. Things are looking very bad for the X-Men and many fans feel like the Krakoa Era is about to end and they aren't very happy about it. This feeling is compounded by two things: the eventual MCU debut of the X-Men and Marvel making Tom Brevoort the editor in charge of the X-Men. Brevoort is mostly known for working on the Avengers side of things and he's known for shepherding great creative runs that feel revolutionary on the surface, but are basically more of the same.
