Most casual fans of The Lord of the Rings will know Bilbo Baggins and his adventure to The Lonely Mountain with 13 Dwarves in The Hobbit and Frodo Baggins and his involvement in the destruction of the One Ring. However, it would take a deep dive to get the full picture of the Bagginses of Hobbiton in their entirety and how each of the Hobbits featured in the films were related to each other. The Hobbit families of the Shire are closely interconnected. Both Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck and Peregrin "Pippin" Took are technically cousins of Frodo, and their history runs far back to some of the early days of Middle-earth. Still, Bilbo and Frodo are not the only notable Hobbits in their clan.
