We already knew that the sixth season of Cobra Kai would also be its last. And today, Netflix confirmed that the final season of Cobra Kai will hit its streaming service in 2024.
As part of a new video that focuses on TV shows and movies slated to be released on Netflix in 2024, the streaming giant revealed that Cobra Kai's final season is one of these shows that will release this year.

We got two brief clips for the final season alongside a release window. The first snippet shows Johnny Lawrence, Miguel Diaz, and Devon Lee in their Eagle Fang Gis, while the other snippet shows Daniel LaRusso fighting an unknown figure.
The Twitter/X account for Cobra Kai shared a behind-the-scenes photo captured during the filming of the upcoming season. Although Cobra Kai Season 6 was announced in January 2023, production for the final season faced a temporary hiatus due to strikes by the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA. Fortunately, production resumed just last month.
Originally released as a YouTube Red/Premium series before Netflix acquired the series, Cobra Kai is a sequel to the original Karate Kid films. Set 30 years after the events of the original Karate Kid film, the show follows Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso, who both open up karate dojos. Alongside William Zabka and Ralph Macchio reprising their roles, Cobra Kai also introduces a new generation of characters into the Karate Kid universe.
In our review of the fifth season of Cobra Kai, we said: "Cobra Kai returns with the evil boss of all evil bosses, a bunch of scores to settle, and a karate empire to thwart in another winning installment."
