Ready or not, Black Friday 2023 is approaching. And as we inch closer to the consumer holiday, the big retailers are starting to announce their sale schedules. Below, we’re gathering all the biggest retailers’ Black Friday plans into one place for your perusal. So if you want to take advantage of the best Black Friday deals this year as they go live, mark these dates and times down on your calendars. Let’s dive in.
Amazon's Black Friday Sale Schedule
Amazon has announced that its Black Friday sale will start Friday, November 17 and run through Friday, November 24. After that, the Cyber Monday deals will begin Saturday, November 25 and run through Monday, November 27.

Best Buy’s Black Friday Sale Schedule
If you like doing your shopping at Best Buy, you can hop over there right now, because the early Black Friday sale is live now. It kicked off October 27 for My Best Buy Plus and Total members, but on October 30 it went live for everyone. Here’s the full schedule for Best Buy:
- October 27-29: Paid members get early access to the early Black Friday deals
- October 30 - November 16: Early Black Friday deals for everyone
- November 17-25: Black Friday Sale
- November 26-27: Cyber Monday Sale

Walmart’s Black Friday Sale Schedule
Last year Walmart broke its Black Friday sale into four smaller events. This year the mega-retailer is simplifying things to some degree and only offering two events. Here’s the schedule:
- Event 1 - Deals begin online Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. ET and continue in stores Friday, Nov. 10 (Walmart+ Early Access runs 12 p.m. ET – 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 8.)
- Event 2 - Deals begin online Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. ET and continue in stores Friday, Nov. 24 (Walmart+ Early Access runs 12 p.m. ET – 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 22.)

Newegg’s Black Friday Sale Schedule
Newegg’s early Black Friday Deals have already begun as well. Per the retailer's official announcement, here's the schedule:
- November 1 - 16: Early black friday deals
- November 17 - 25: Black Friday deals
The online retailer is also offering something called “Black Friday Price Protection” between November 1 - 16. If you buy any item with this label on it, and the item drops to a lower price on or before November 25, Newegg will automatically discount the difference to your original form of payment. Costco's Black Friday Sale Schedule
Another retailer many people look to for sales is Costco. And like some of the other stores on this page, Costco's Black Friday deals have also already begun. Here's the full schedule:
- First Wave of Deals - October 30 - November 12
- Early Black Friday Deals - November 13 - 27
- Online Black Friday Deals - November 23 (Online Only)
- Black Friday Deals - November 24 - 27
Note that you do need a membership to take advantage of the savings, but that's nothing new for Costco.
Target’s Black Friday Sale Schedule
Target’s early Black Friday deals are live now. They started on October 29 and will run through Cyber Monday, which lands on November 27. A new batch of deals will be available every Sunday, so check back each week. See the official announcement for more details.
Target has a "Holiday Price Match Guarantee" policy that says they'll match the price if it goes lower at Target on most items purchased between October 22 and December 24. Unlike the Newegg policy above, however, you have to notice the price drop and request the price match. Also, some exclusions apply.
Retailers That Haven’t Announced Black Friday Plans Yet
- GameStop - GameStop has a great sale going on this week, but the video game-focused retailer has yet to announce its official Black Friday 2023 plans.
