Earlier this year, IGN debuted the first wave of The Simpsons figures and collectibles being released by Jakks Pacific, which now holds the toy rights to the long-running animated sitcom. Jakks Pacific held a panel at San Diego Comic-Con today, where they revealed the next batch of figures, featuring both the Simpson clan and some of the most iconic Springfield residents.
Check out the slideshow gallery below for an exclusive first look at these figures:
The new figures comprise both the 2.5-inch and 5-inch-scale lines. The smaller 2.5-inch figures are designed to be compatible with various building playsets like the previously revealed Simpson family home. As revealed at SDCC, this new wave includes Homer, Ned Flanders, Chief Wiggum, Lisa with a saxophone accessory and Bart with a skateboard accessory.
As for the 5-inch figures, the next wave includes Homer with a box of donuts, Bart with a skateboard, Groundskeeper Willie with a bagpipe and Otto with a guitar. Additionally, Jakks Pacific is debuting a line of 5-inch Premium figures that feature more elaborate accessories and display bases. The first wave of these Premium figures includes Vampire Mr. Burns from "Treehouse of Horror IV" (with color-changing face and hands), Radioactive Man (with a light-up chest emblem) and Furious Homer from "I Am Furious (Yellow)."
Finally, fans can look forward to new plush figures of the core Simpson clan. That includes a line of basic 10-inch dolls and "Shelf Talkers" of Homer and Bart that feature pull cord-activated catchphrases.
