Laika Studios' Coraline from 2009 was a big success among both children and adults. Some adults were hesitant to see the movie at first. It has an eerie feel that leaves viewers wanting to warn Coraline of the danger she's in despite her inability to hear them. Thankfully, Laika Studios put an incredible amount of work into the movie, proving to audiences otherworldly shows can be great. Most people find something new they hadn't noticed before on each re-watch of Coraline.
