Starfield is officially out, and modders have been working hard creating helpful add-ons, from useful, quality-of-life mods such as revamping the inventory UI to unofficially adding support for DLSS. Others have added more cosmetic things like reskin in-game clothes. And then there are some people out there who keep modding Bethesda's Todd Howard into the game.
Several individuals have posted mods on NexusMods, replacing miscellaneous things with Todd Howard's face. One mod by ronaldmoon, for example, replaces every single portrait in the Constellation Lodge with a picture of Todd Howard. ScarClaw72's mod replaces the Starfield logo and splash screen with pictures of Howard. While GeraldMods replaces the flashlight texture with a picture of Howard's face.
Of course, this goes beyond just mods, as players are also taking the time to use the character creation tool to make their avatar have the likeness of Todd Howard. The most notable ones include Redditor Molda_Fr, whose avatar looks a lot like Howard. However, users like CheesyWhales have also attempted to make their playable character based on the Bethesda developer.
In our review of Starfield, which we awarded a 7 out of 10, IGN said: "Starfield has a lot of forces working against it, but eventually the allure of its expansive roleplaying quests and respectable combat make its gravitational pull difficult to resist."
