When Orchis launched their all-out assault on the latest Hellfire Gala, it marked the beginning of the end for the Krakoan era that mutantkind fought so hard to attain. Not only that, but it also set the stage for a global catastrophe the likes of which has never been seen and which the anti-mutant terrorists could easily attribute to their enemies. Now, that same crisis has Spider-Man's closest love right at home, and there is no telling how much worse things will get before they start looking any better.
