Anora was the belle of the ball at the 2025 Oscars. The film and its writer/editor/director/producer Sean Baker were decorated with several awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Film Editing. In case you haven’t seen it, you can rent or buy it right now on digital platforms, including Prime Video and Apple TV. But if you want to add the Criterion Collection disc version to your rack, you’ll have to wait until it launches on April 29. There’s good reason to pre-order it now, as the 1080p Blu-ray and the 4K Blu-ray versions are each 30% off their list prices, available for $27.99 and $34.99, respectively.
Both Criterion editions come loaded with special features, including audio commentaries, a making-of documentary, interviews with Sean Baker and Mikey Madison (who won Best Actress for her role in this film), deleted scenes, and audition footage.
