The Gen V cast has taken to social media to pay respects following the passing of their fellow cast member, Chance Perdomo.

Perdomo, who played Andre Anderson on The Boys spinoff series, died at the age of 27 over the weekend after a tragic motorcycle accident. It’s a sudden blow to friends, family, and fans, who grew to love his work on other projects like Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Killed by My Debt, Midsomer Murders, and more.

Perdomo’s Gen V castmates took the time to remember him after his death while still finding time to celebrate the talent that he brought to the series.

Lizze Broadway, who plays Emma Meyer on the show, shared a message from the Gen V cast on X/Twitter:

“Our hearts are with Chance’s loved one as we grieve this shocking loss. We will remember the special moments we had together, his infectious smile that could light up any room, his warm hugs and the authenticity he carried with him always. Rest in peace dear friend, you will be deeply missed.”

Broadway also posted about Perdomo’s passing on Instagram:

“Remembering my beloved friend and cast mate, Chance Perdomo, whose passing has left a profound void in my heart. Chance possessed so many interpersonal gifts that I treasured deeply. He was a vital part of my growth as an individual, his gentle spirit lifting me up when I needed it most. To me, he was and always be my superhero. I am in shock and grieving his loss deeply. Rest in peace, dear Chance. You will forever hold a special place in my heart.”

Other castmates, such as Sean Patrick Thomas, who plays Andre’s father, shared their own separate messages. He remembers Perdomo has an avid music listener with “raw talent.”

Patrick Schwarzeneggar plays Perdomo’s close friend Golden Boy on the show and calls him a “talented actor, and a great friend.” Indira Shetty actress Shelley Conn also commented her castmate’s passing, saying that she is “devastated” while thinking of Perdomo’s family, friends, and loved ones.

After news of his death made its way to the public, Variety reported that Season 2 of the show is “delayed indefinitely.”
