What makes it stand out in Netflix’s Nocturne however, is how its wielders channel it and where they choose to share their supernatural abilities. Far from being an innate ability that select characters have access to, most magicians in Nocturne have an intimate relationship with their powers, often accessing them in ways that are strikingly similar to certain practices of spirituality that have gained prominence in modern pop culture.
