Director Fede Álvarez's Alien: Romulus has arrived in theaters, the seventh film in the venerable series. Starring Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu, the film is set some 20 years after the events of the original 1979 Alien, and has been branded as a return to the roots of the franchise.
IGN's Tom Jorgensen gave Alien: Romulus an 8 out of 10 in his review, saying the movie's "back-to-basics approach to blockbuster horror boils everything fans love about the tonally-fluid franchise into one brutal, nerve-wracking experience."
