Fall of X has hit the X-Men like a ton of bricks. The Orchis Initiative was created from multiple secret organizations. These included heroic ones like STRIKE, SHIELD, or SWORD, but also villainous groups like Hydra, AIM, and HAMMER. Orchis threw tragedies at the mutant race in order to keep them from getting too powerful and destroying humanity. While Orchis has mostly targeted the mutant nation of Krakoa, even the human heroes aren't safe from them.
