The Marvel Cinematic Universe has made no qualms about showing that being a ruler of a kingdom or a nation is hard. For Black Panther's T'Challa, he had to become a king soon after his father's death and then faced a civil war started by a cousin he didn't know he had. Then, he had to defend his home from an alien invasion that resulted in the erasure of himself and half of the universe's population. Even still, that's nothing compared to the life Thor had while he was the ruler of Asgard and the many casualties he was forced to endure.
