While Star Trek: Strange New Worlds often places Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the Enterprise on vital missions for the future of Starfleet, every now and again, they get to have a little fun. The Season 2 episode "Charades" gives Spock the chance to explore his human side after a freak accident turns him into a physiological human at the worst possible time when his future in-laws come to visit the Enterprise for an important ceremony. As Spock scrambles to keep up appearances, Christine Chapel has to confront her true feelings about him as she moves to restore his heritage in time.
