One problem with ongoing franchises is maintaining in-universe details. When time-travel is thrown into the mix, it can be almost impossible, as anyone who saw The Flash movie can attest. The 57-year-long timeline of Star Trek is convoluted but fans can still make sense of it. In fact, one time-travel episode of Strange New Worlds puts it all into perspective.
