Netflix's ambitious task of bringing the One Piece anime to life, based on the extremely popular manga by Eiichiro Oda, has finally come to fruition with the release of the live-action adaptation. Having perfectly cast the Straw Hat Pirates and reflecting the source material's wacky aesthetic, the series looks incredibly promising, even if it has gone off to an uneven start. It also captures one of the most iconic and complex character arcs, as seen in the originals, that of Nami (Emily Rudd).
