The X-Men are circling closer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and from the way 2023 has gone, it may not be a moment too soon. The mid-credits sequence to The Marvels features the appearance of Kelsey Grammer's Beast -- and by extension Charles Xavier -- which formally connects 20th Century Fox's mutant franchise to the MCU. They're part of a parallel reality that also involves Monica Rambeau's mother Maria, who possesses superpowers and has apparently taken on the mantle of Binary.
