Star Wars is known for many things: epic space battles, political intrigue and a certain degree of philosophical musings about the nature and will of the Force as well as its users. Of course, the thing it's best known for is its famous lightsaber duels. Combining elegant choreography, high stakes, and phenomenal music, these battles have been at the heart of the galaxy far, far away, and more often than not, are the focal points by which the history of the franchise is shaped. Often, fans get to witness a hero valiantly defeat a practitioner of the dark side or, barring that, just narrowly escape the jaws of death.
