Wonka is an upcoming Warner Bros. Discovery movie of scrumdiddlyumptious proportions, with the movie tying into a surefire classic from the 1970s. Nowadays, remakes, reboots, sequels and nostalgia bait are rather common, to the point where they aren't quite the surefire successes they once were. Thankfully, the new take on Willy Wonka may succeed due to its channeling one of the more unconventional remakes from rival studio Disney.
