Horror movies are a favorite for many, especially when it comes to sequels and reboots. In fact, no genre is as synonymous with continued franchises as horror, with some slashers being continued for decades. The 2010s and 2020s have been full of some great reboots, such as Halloween, Hellraiser and Wrong Turn. However, an often overlooked slasher from 1998, if handled right, could become the best horror film series of the 2020s if only given a reboot.
