Alongside Amazon Prime Day, which continues through today, Walmart has its own savings event going on. Called "Walmart+ Week," the sale event is going on now up until July 13. The biggest deal right now is on Walmart+ itself, which is being offered for $49 for the first year. That's a 50% savings off its regular price, which is very nice of them to do.

Probably the biggest reason to subscribe to Walmart+ is because it includes a subscription to Paramount+, which is a better streaming service than it seems like it should be. Not knocking it, as the only place to stream Star Trek: TNG, it sits really highly on my list of top-streaming services, but it's not quite enough to make me want to have a stand-alone subscription. I keep meaning to watch Season 3 of Picard, which is apparently amazing, but one thing at a time. Pairing Paramount+ with Walmart+ is my choice for "the way to go" when it comes to subscribing.
On top of streaming access, Walmart+ members get free shipping, free store delivery (which I didn't know about), as well as free return pick-up. In other words, if you bought something you don't like at Walmart, they'll send someone to your house to pick it up to return it. Obviously, restrictions apply, but that's kind of the ultimate dream for someone like me, a very lazy man who doesn't want to go stand in line at the Walmart customer service desk.
There's also discounts on gas, free Pluto TV streaming, and early access to deals. Along with Walmart+ Week, that early-deal access also works during Black Friday, which is where it's really needed. Walmart usually has some of the best Black Friday deals, and they start them way earlier than anyone else, so they also tend to go really fast.
Walmart+ Free Trial Deal
If you don't want to sign up for a full year, even with the discount, you can stack several different free trials. It requires a Game Pass membership, but you can get Walmart+ for free for just over 3 months if you meet all the requirements. That won't help you come Black Friday, but it will help you next week.
Important to note, the $49 Walmart+ deal DOESN'T work if you have Walmart+ through Game Pass, YouTube, or other services.
