One of the reasons that Dragon Ball is such a timeless classic is that it never fails to find new, formidable foes to threaten the universe. These obstacles have reached godly levels of danger, yet Goku and the rest of Earth’s heroes continue to take it in stride and enter the battlefield with hope, optimism, and courage. Tien Shinhan is a commendable character who’s experienced tremendous growth since his debut in the original Dragon Ball. Tien is brought into Dragon Ball as Master Shen and his Crane School of Martial Arts’ analogue to Goku.
