Breath of Fire was a JPRG series that began on the Super Nintendo in the 1990s. It would continue on the Sony PlayStation to be a direct competitor with Final Fantasy. After Fire Emblem: Dragon Quarter for the PlayStation 2, the series mostly ended up on mobile devices.
