Any PlayStation fan who’s curious about virtual reality is in luck. Right now, in addition to launching a huge PS5 game sale, Sony is dropping prices on PSVR 2 to new all-time lows. You can get a PlayStation VR 2 for $349.99 at all the major retailers right now. And if you want a pack-in game, the Horizon Call of the Mountain PSVR 2 bundle is on sale for $399.99. That’s the biggest discount we’ve ever seen on both items. And it comes at great time, with Sony adding PSVR 2-PC compatibility next month, so you can play PC VR games on the headset starting on August 7. Let’s dive in.
PSVR 2 New All-Time Low Price
- Get it at Amazon - $349
- Get it at Best Buy - $349.99
- Get it at GameStop - $349.99
- Get it at Target - $349.99
- Get it at Walmart - $349.99
If all you want is the hardware itself, you can pick up this bundle that includes the headset, two PSVR 2 Sense controllers, and all the cables you need to play. This is a terrific deal, landing it at $150 less than the price of Meta Quest 3 (see at Amazon).
PSVR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle All-Time Low Price

- Get it at Best Buy - $399.99
- Get it at GameStop $399.99

The bundle that includes the PSVR2 hardware, along with the flagship title Horizon Call of the Mountain, is also on sale. It costs $50 more than the non-bundle (and is probably worth picking up, imo; check out our Horizon Call of the Mountain review for details).
For those of you eager to try out your PSVR 2 headset on PC, you can download the PSVR 2 Steam app now. You’ll need that app to prep your PC for PSVR 2 compatibility, and to update the firmware on your headset so it knows to play nice with your computer. You’ll also need a PSVR 2 PC adapter, which will apparently go live at retailers on August 7. It’s not available for preorder at the time of this writing.
