Fire-type Pokémon are the hottest thing in Pokémon TCG Pocket right now, thanks to the Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak event. Hunt for your favorite fire-type Pokémon like Arcanine, Charizard, and Moltres through the event, which runs from Nov. 22-28.

Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak event details
The Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak event is a Wonder Pick event where fire-type Pokémon will appear in the Wonder Pick section of Pokémon TCG Pocket as Rare and Bonus Picks.
Similar to the Chansey and Meowth event, Rare Picks and Bonus Picks won’t feature items. Bonus Picks are free, while Rare Picks will cost three Wonder Stamina. Both Rare and Bonus Picks have a chance to appear every time your Wonder Picks are updated, so make sure to check the section frequently!
Additionally, new items are available during the event. You can receive Wonder Hourglasses by completing missions (which we’ve detailed below) and give your Arcanine ex the Arcanine ex Circles Yellow Battle Flair by collecting duplicates of the Arcanine ex card.

Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak missions and rewards
The event features a handful of missions that reward Wonder Hourglasses.
As of this writing, the missions and rewards for the Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak event are as follows, though note that the event “details are subject to change without warning,” according to a news release.
- Collect one Arcanine ex card: one Wonder Hourglass
- Wonder Pick three times: one Wonder Hourglass
- Wonder Pick five times: three Wonder Hourglasses
- Collect five fire-type cards: two Wonder Hourglasses
- Collect ten fire-type cards: three Wonder Hourglasses
- Collect 15 fire-type cards: four Wonder Hourglasses
How to get Arcanine ex in the Mass Outbreak Event
To get Arcanine ex in the Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak event, you’ll need to spend three Wonder Stamina and choose the Arcanine ex card through a Rare Pick when one appears. As with all types of Wonder Pick, you have a one in five chance of getting the card you want.
Remember, Rare Picks have a chance to appear in your Wonder Pick listings every time your Wonder Pick is updated, so check your listings often!
How to get the Yellow Flair for Arcanine ex
The Arcanine ex Circles Yellow flair is obtainable if you have at least three Arcanine ex cards and 720 Shine Dust.
To get the flair, head over to your cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket, and find your Arcanine ex card. Select the card and press the “Obtain Flair” button. Choose the left-most flair to find the Circles Flair: Yellow (Battle) flair and exchange your duplicates and Shine Dust to get the exclusive flair.
