Without a doubt, Black Friday is one of the best times of year to upgrade your gaming PC. Although the actual event lands on November 29, most retailers have already released excellent Black Friday deals that you are certainlly worth jumping on now if you don't want to wait. Several gaming PC deals from Dell, Best Buy, HP, and Lenovo are already listed at the best prices of the year and I don't think they'll drop much further, if at all, on Black Friday proper.
Alienware Black Friday Deals
If you're in the market for a prebuilt gaming PC, Alienware is one of best gaming brands we'd recommend. The Dell Black Friday Sale has already started ahead of November 29 with some outstanding deals on Alienware Aurora R16 gaming desktops. Consistent build quality, available inventory, frequent sales, and solid customer service are the main reasons why Dell is at the top of our buying list for gaming PCs.
Best Buy Black Friday Deals
Best Buy has thus far been the most prolific in releasing great gaming PC deals as part of its greater Best Buy Black Friday Sale. If you're on a budget, the iBuyPower Scale RTX 4060 gaming PC for $699.99 is a solid deal and a great candidate for 1080p gaming. For something more powerful, consider the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme gaming PC with an outstanding AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU and RTX 4070 Super GPU. The RTX 4070 Super is the best GPU for most people and is perfect for 1440p gaming.

Walmart's best Black Friday gaming PC deal
As part of its Black Friday deals, Walmart is offering this CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme gaming PC for only $1,199 after a $370 instant discount. This PC features an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU, Radeon RX 7900 GRE GPU, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a 2TB M.2 SSD. The Radeon RX 7900 GRE is a relatively recent (March 2024) release. It's roughly 10-15% faster than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU and is more comparable to the new RTX 4070 Super. This rig is ideal for gaming at up to 1440p resolution at high framerates, although it can also run most games in 4K.

Best Buy's best Black Friday gaming PC deal
This CyberPowerPC is equipped with some excellent specs. Up until the recent 9800X3D release, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D was considered the gaming CPU to get. It outperformed other CPUs that cost hundreds more, including AMD's own 7950X3D. It's paired with the RTX 4070 Super GPU, which in our opinion is the best graphics cards for most people; it's powerful enough to run games at up to 4K resolution (although 1440p is its sweet spot).

Amazon's best Black Friday gaming PC deal
Amazon's Black Friday Sale, especially on gaming PC deals, is off to a late start, but the cogs are finally beginning to turn. This iBuyPowerPC config features a 14th gen Intel Core i7 CPU, RTX 4070 Super GPU, 16GB for RAM, and a 2TB SSD for under $1300. This is one of the least expensive gaming PCs you'll find that can easily handle gaming at up to 1440p.
HP Black Friday Deals
HP has kicked off its Black Friday Sale, which included deals on their Omen and Victus gaming PCs. Save up to $1,000 off HP's flagship Omen 45L gaming PC, which is equipped with your choice of an RTX 4090 or 4080 Super GPU and 240mm-360mm AIO liquid cooling. For the budget-minded, the HP Victus gaming PC with RTX 4060 GPU is down to $779.99.
Lenovo Black Friday Deals
Update: Prices have gone up a bit on 11/19. If you've already decided you want a Lenovo gaming PC, I would strongly recommend waiting until these prices drop again. They certainly will before or on Black Friday.

Get a Legion Tower 5 equipped with an RTX 4060 or Radeon RX 7600 for about $800, or my recommendation is to step up to the RTX 4070 Super model for only $1380. The Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 4090 Super gaming PC drops to $2,999.99 after a massive $1,000 instant discount. It features an Intel Core i9-14900KF CPU, RTX 4090 GPU, 64GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. The RTX 4090 is the most powerful GPU on the market. In his RTX 4090 review, Chris Coke writes, "The RTX 4090 may be huge and expensive, but holy smokes if it doesn’t blow the competition out of the water... Until the rest of the pack can catch up, between its impressive hardware specs and its DLSS 3 AI wizardry, even the $1,599 price doesn’t seem unreasonable for the unrivaled frame rates that this card can crank out." The 4090 is also great for AI thanks to its 24GB of VRAM.
Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 4080 Super Gaming PC
The Alienware Aurora R16 RTX 4080 Super gaming PC drops to as low as $1999.99 after an $800 instant discount. The 4080 Super is a second generation card that supersedes the RTX 4080. It's Nvidia's second most powerful card and a superior GPU to AMD's Radeon RX 7900 RTX if you factor in DLSS and ray tracing performance. In our RTX 4080 Super review, Jacqueline Thomas writes, "If you're in the market for a 4K graphics card around $1,000, it's hard to think of any GPU that's a better purchase right now. This is the RTX 4080 that should have launched in 2022."

If you're in the process of building out a new gaming PC and you're looking for the best gaming processor, this is it. Right now, the recently released AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D AM5 desktop processor is back in stock at Amazon at its retail price of $479 shipped. This is the official launch price with zero markup, and it's not bundled with anything you don't want or need.
The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is the best gaming processor currently on the market and a much better option than the new Intel Core Ultra 9 285K. If you're waiting for a discount on this processor for Black Friday, though, don't hold your breath. There is the slimmest of slim chances that anyone will drop the price of this hot commodity before 2025.
