Assassin's Creed Mirage is just around the corner, and it happens to be one of the most anticipated games of 2023, not because of its size or overwhelming amount of new features, but because it resembles Assassin's Creed at its roots. Many longtime fans are gearing up to return to the franchise they abandoned due to more recent AC titles like Assassin's Creed Valhalla being more of a departure from the formula they came to know and love than anything else. Fairly recent gameplay footage of Mirage has shown the upcoming installment appearing to take on the form of its earliest predecessors, and now, the game's projected length has been disclosed by Ubisoft, and it's reinforcing Mirage's "back to basics" claim even more.
