Foldable phones continue to grow in popularity as the bendable screen technology continues to improve. The prices are still pretty outrageous though. I recently upgraded to a new phone, and while I thought it might be cool to upgrade to a really high-end foldable, the enormous price tags led me down a more budget-friendly path.
During the Amazon October Prime Day sale, however, the prices on Samsung's latest foldable phones are getting some pretty significant discounts that almost make them affordable. Both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 are currently discounted for Prime Big Deal Days.
Samsung Galaxy Foldable Phones Are on Sale
Both of these foldable phones pack a serious punch. IGN has actually tested and reviewed the Z Flip 6 and the Z Fold 6 and found them to be quite impressive phones. Not only did they get upgraded performance with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 procesors, they can also easily swap between folded and unfolded modes without any issues. We even went as far to test them for gaming performance and found them to be surprisingly good as gaming phones. We put the more premium Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 on our list of the best Android phones as our preferred foldable, but the more affordable Galaxy Z Flip is still one of our favorite phones of the year.
