The Sony PlayStation 2 was easily the best home console of its generation, not to mention the home of several incredible video games. These titles ran the gamut of genres and gameplay styles, although role-playing games were quite prominent following the similar success of the PlayStation 1. Even though Square's Final Fantasy was the biggest name among RPGs, it wasn't the only star on the PS2.
