Batman is DC's current MVP, to the extent that people are tired of him. Batman has been moving comics for decades now; when newer fans complain about the glut of Batman books out there, older fans just smile because it's always been this way. DC has long put out umpteen Batman books, but in recent years, there were fewer books overall, and the Batman comics stood out. There's a good reason for this — Batman sells. As much as some people complain, Batman books fly off the shelves, and DC keeps making more of them.
