Spider-Man has long been Marvel's most popular hero, and the MCU version played by Tom Holland quickly became a fan favorite. This was largely thanks to Tom Holland's performance in films, starting with Captain America: Civil War and his last showing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Holland does a fantastic job playing Spider-Man and Peter Parker and has played well off every actor in the MCU he's shared scenes with.
