Twilight Princess was the ultimate fan service game for Zelda players when it first released, as Nintendo really wanted to appeal to its core fanbase. In much the same way, Tears of the Kingdom brought back a lot of core ideas that Zelda fans felt were missing from Breath of the Wild in a way that really appealed to fans of the classic games.
