It's no secret fans have been waiting for the trailer for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom for some time. Many wondered why Warner Bros. Discovery wasn't marketing it as much, given the movie is due for a Dec. 20, 2023 release. It left some thinking maybe WBD had indeed given up on the film after the failure of The Flash and was instead looking towards James Gunn's new DCU.
