Ever since the MonsterVerse began with 2014's Godzilla, directed by Gareth Edwards, visual effects expert Sean Konrad has had a steady hand in shaping the popular Godzilla shared universe. Continuing in his role as visual effects supervisor for 2019's Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Konrad is a prominent part of the production on the MonsterVerse Apple TV+ original series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. The epic story spans 65 years, from the origins of Monarch in the '50s to the immediate aftermath of Godzilla's battle against the MUTOs in San Francisco in 2014's Godzilla.
