A sequel to the popular Castlevania animated series, based on an equally popular video game franchise, Netflix's Castlevania: Nocturne follows a new generation of the Belmont family as they combat a fresh vampiric threat. This time, the series leverages the backdrop of the French Revolution to address numerous themes and issues related to the division of wealth and power dynamics perpetuated by institutions through the use of particular characters whose beliefs ground these notions and further articulate them.
